二氧化钛的改性及其在治理工业废水中的应用进展

摘要:TiO2受到一定能量光子照射时,在价带上产生相应的光生空穴(h+)将吸附在半导体表面的OH-和H2O氧化成为具有强氧化性的氢氧自由基(•OH),电子与表面吸附的O2反应形成强氧化性的氧自由基(•O2-)将废水中的污染物分解为CO2、H2O等无机物分子而不产生中间产物。针对纯TiO2应用缺陷的改性方法,包括离子掺杂、半导体复合、贵金属沉积;并对改性TiO2在治理工业废水中的污染物研究做了综述。目前大量成果都是在实验室完成,能真正应用于工业生产实践的成果还不足。利用TiO2治理工业废水的技术仍需要持续改进与完善,以使其在治理水污染领域有更广泛的应用。

Modification of Titanium Dioxide and its Application in Industrial Wastewater Treatment

Abstract:When TiO2 is irradiated with certain energy photons, it generates corresponding photogenerated holes (h+) on the valence band. These photogenerated holes could oxidize OH- and H2O adsorbed on the surface of the semiconductor into a highly oxidizing hydroxyl radical (•OH). Electron reacts with surface adsorbed O2 to form strongly oxidized oxygen free radicals(•O2-), which decompose pollutants in wastewater into inorganic molecules such as CO2 and H2O without producing intermediate products. The modification methods for the defects of pure TiO2 include ions doping, semiconductor recombination and precious metal deposition. The research on the modification of pollutants in the treatment of industrial wastewater by TiO2 is reviewed. At present, a large number of achievements are completed in the laboratory, and the results that can be truly applied to industrial production practice are still insufficient. The technology of using TiO2 to treat industrial wastewater still needs continuous improvement, so that it has wider application in the field of water pollution control.
