基于自由型特征的NURBS曲线设计

摘要:自由型特征由于其自身的复杂性、不确定性使其表示、编辑及操作十分困难。利用信号处理技术——小波多分辨率分析,将NURBS曲线从单一尺度几何表示的空域空间变换为频域空间的表示形式。通过小波滤波器组完成了对模型的整体特征和自由型特征的分离,从而实现了NURBS曲线基于自由型特征的编辑、操作和控制。该方法不仅提高了NURBS曲线几何建模的效率,而且有效克服了传统NURBS曲线建模的繁琐和费时。

Abstract:It remains very hard for free-form features to represent, edit, and operate them because of their complexity and uncertainty. The present paper establishes NURBS curve multi-resolution representation by signal processing technology (wavelet multi-resolution technology), NURBS cures made changed from single-scale geometric space to frequent space. Through a wavelet filter bank, separation is fulfilled for total features and detail features of a model. Based on free-form features, this makes it easy for NURBS curve editing, operation, and control and so on. This approach not only improves geometric modeling efficient, also overcomes miscellaneousness and troublesomeness.
