高海拔环境下扇叶安装角对冷却风扇性能的影响

摘要:使用Fluent软件建立冷却风扇的数值计算模型,研究了海拔高度、安装角对冷却风扇的所需功率和质量流量的影响。由于在高海拔环境下空气密度降低,引起流经冷却风扇的质量流量减少,造成冷却风扇的散热能力降低。同时,冷却风扇所需轴功率也下降,而电机输出功率基本保持不变,造成输入冷却风扇的动力不能完全利用。增加扇叶安装角,风扇的质量流量增加,同时轴功率也会上升。所以在高海拔条件下,增大扇叶安装角,可以不增加输入风扇动力,同时提高风扇的散热能力。最后,基于计算结果,给出了不同海拔高度下扇叶安装角的计算方法和示例。

Influence of Blade Installation Angle on Fan’s Cooling Ability at High Altitude

Abstract:On the basis of a numerical model of cooling fan developed in Fluent, the influences of the altitude and the blade installation angle on the mass flow rate and the required shaft power of this cooling fan are studied. The mass flow rate of the cooling fan decreases because the air density decreases at high attitude, which causes the decrease of the cooling ability. On the other hand, the required shaft power of the cooling pan decreases, which impedes the full utilization of the input power because the output power of electrical machinery barely changes. The mass flow rate and the shaft power of the pan increase when the blade installation angle increases. Therefore, when the blade installation angle increases, the cooling ability of the pan can be enhanced at high altitude without the increase of the input power of the pan. Finally, the calculation method and example of blade installation angle at different altitudes are introduced.
